Finding journal articles

2 simple steps to getting your article:

1. Find it by searching one of the databases to the right

2. Locate it:

Click on the full text link within the database OR
Use the Find Text button to get to the full text of the article in print or online OR
If we don't have the article in print or online, the Find Text button will help you get the article through Interlibrary Loan .

Something to remember: You need an index to find journal articles on your topic (unless you want to read a gazillion articles to find a good one). An article index is like the index in the back of a book, but it comes in database form or as a separate print publication, like Social Work Abstracts, and shows you all the journal issues that have articles on your topic. It targets your search to your research question search terms!
