New database: Statistical Abstract of the US

The Statistical Abstract is a comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic conditions of the United States.

Previously compiled by the U.S. Department of the Census, the Statistical Abstract is now managed by ProQuest.  Look to the Statistical Abstract for energy consumption by mode of transportation; characteristics of the labor force by state; employment projections by industry; life expectancy by sex, age, and race; number of small business loans to minority small business owners; and much more.
